Limited Maneuver Assist / LMA
sc-072 FRONTAL-CENTRIC STABILIZATION LOGIC
An emergency optimization of the "Maneuver Armor" protocol, tailored for Support-type units with limited processing power. This system sacrifices omnidirectional coverage to maintain a stable firing or repositioning platform during high-speed maneuvers.
- STUN MITIGATION: Reduces Standard Stun to Flinch during High-Speed Maneuvers.
- DEFENSIVE VECTOR: Effective only against impacts from the Forward Arc (180°).
- SYSTEM PRIORITY: Overridden by Melee, Tackle, and Accumulation Stun.
Operational Profile
The LMA logic is hardcoded to synchronize with the unit's frontal sensors. While active during boosting, it utilizes the forward inertial dampers to mitigate kinetic impact. Unlike the standard Maneuver Armor, it cannot compensate for flank or rear vulnerabilities, making positioning relative to the threat the primary survival factor.
Strategic Risk Assessment
This program is a "last resort" for repositioning under fire. It provides zero protection against aggressive melee closing or high-impact ballistic saturation. Pilots must maintain visual contact with the aggressor to ensure the stabilization logic remains active.
