Impulse Override / IOD, IOD-D
sc-003 [Tactical Hierarchy Re-evaluation Logic]
A specialized combat OS expansion that dynamically recalibrates the unit's Melee Priority by analyzing impact feedback from kinetic collisions. This logic allows units to bypass inherent category-based limitations, establishing a new dominant hierarchy through defensive or offensive engagement.
- Active Duration: Permanent (Until destruction)
- Trigger [Support Type]: Successful Counter (Tackle)
- Trigger [Standard/Assault]: Melee Hit / Clash / Tackle
| Target Classification | Logic Lv | Priority Shift |
|---|---|---|
| Support Units | Lv.1 | Rank 1 → Rank 2 |
| General Units | Lv.2 | Rank 2 → Rank 3 |
| Raid Units | Lv.2 | Rank 3 → Rank 4 (LB) |
Tactical Profile: Support Survival (Impulse Override Defense)
For Support units, IOD acts as a "Rejection Logic." While naturally disadvantaged against General types in close quarters, a single successful counter elevates the unit to Priority Rank 2. This allows the Support to trade blows or force a "Clash" against General units, breaking their suppressive loop and creating an opening for retreat or counter-offensive.
Tactical Profile: Absolute Dominance
In standard or high-mobility engagements, IOD triggers through any melee contact. General units can ascend to match the base priority of Raids, while Raid units reach Rank 4 (Limit Break). This ensures that in a "Clash-Loop" between high-spec units, the IOD-equipped pilot will unilaterally shatter the opponent's posture on the second exchange.
