An environmental adaptation protocol designed for the "Lunar Surface"—a unique battlefield defined as vacuum-sealed outer space with low gravity. While space-exclusive units remain in a perpetual orbital state, this skill allows hybrid machines to stabilize their frame by tethering to the lunar crust.

Physics of the Moon

The lunar environment alternates between Ground Mode and Space Mode. In Space Mode, machines transcend gravity, maintaining altitude even during stagger reactions. However, sc-042 focuses exclusively on Ground Mode efficiency.

By grounding the machine, the pilot gains Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA) and a 10% damage reduction by venting impact energy into the lunar surface. While these buffs vanish upon entering orbital flight, the "Ground-to-Space" transition is made seamless via zero-cost jumping.
