A high-priority tactical shift program unique to the RX-78NT-1. By shedding the Chobam Armor(Sub-Weapon/Shield), either manually or upon structural failure, the unit bypasses hardware limiters to restore its original high-spec mobility and combat functions.

Phase Shift: From Fortress to Striker

The purge sequence initiates a momentary "Absolute Defense" state, neutralizing all incoming kinetic energy during the detachment phase. Once the heavy armor plates are discarded, the reactor's output—previously consumed by stabilizing the added mass—is diverted entirely to the actuators and thrusters, shifting the MS into its intended high-maneuverability profile.

Operational Vulnerability

While the Chobam Armor provides immense protection, it remains susceptible to high-torque structural stress. Attacks that bypass external plating—specifically Heavy Attacks and Close-Quarters Counters Action—will transmit damage directly to the internal frame, potentially compromising the unit before the purge logic can be activated.

The Gundam X Divider offers a far more "professional" solution. By replacing the problematic satellite system with the Divider—a multi-functional shield—the unit transitions from a glass cannon to a versatile frontline predator.
