Historical Context

First appearing on September 17, 2020, the Tristan is a refurbished "Alex." Despite operating beyond the ZZ era, its base performance felt fittingly "dated" for the GBO2 lineup of late 2020.

Gameplay & Impressions

Initial reception was mixed due to the non-instant stagger Beam Rifle. However, the community found its niche: Melee-focused operation, acting almost like a Raid-type unit.

  • Size Advantage: Compact frame in a 600+ cost world of giants.
  • Mobility: High turning (78) and walking speed (135).
  • Accumulation: BR and Gatling effectively build stagger.
  • Quick Strikes: Shorter swap times allow for rapid aggression.

Conclusion (As of Nov 2020)

The Tristan isn't universally disliked, nor a guaranteed win. It’s a machine with hidden potential that won't be overlooked forever.
