Beam Gun (May 18, 2020)

GBO2 Delusion Colmun #004

The units that can be equipped are "GM Command", "GM Command (Space Type)", "Armored GM", "GM Sniper II", and "GM Striker Kai". Probably no unit currently uses this weapon as its main force(05,18,2020).
"Weapon fire power is insufficient"
"It's hard to fire rapidly"
"No stun effect"
"It is difficult to reach the Build Stun with this weapon"
"Short range"
I think that is the reason why is not selected.

"Weapon fire power is insufficient"
Firepower per second is lower than machine guns. If the hit accuracy is low, the difference will be larger.
"It's hard to fire rapidly"
This weapon has a cool time of 2.5 seconds. It is not a 100% chance of hitting, but if you miss the attack and the cool time is short, the chances of being hit will increase. Of course, the damage will also increase. The chance of stuns also increases.
"No stun effect"
It is the biggest factor that is not chosen. Being able to immediately stop the movement of the enemy has a superiority over weapons that cannot do so. So if this weapon doesn't have that advantage, it has to be very good at anything else.
"It is difficult to reach the Build Stun with this weapon"
At least for now, it seems that the enemy's movement can be stopped if the attack is applied three times. However, it only happens in a very unrealistic situation where you keep hitting at the fastest cool time during battle.
"Short range"
At the full range, the evasion rate from melee attacks and bazooka attacks increases, but it cannot support attacks from support types. If the attack could be done safely, it is questionable if the enemy perceives the threat (because of its low firepower).
For now, if you want to be effective, you need to be close to the enemy even if you risk it (if you can make a melee attack you can generate firepower). However, it is very difficult to fight while watching the enemy's attack with a weapon that can not stop the enemy's movement.

Everyone probably understands the problem, but I don't know what is the correct solution. So, I wanted to sort out some information, and I've described it so far.

Another, It may be confusing, but the weapon information I got from GUNDAM WIKI  seems to be that the penetration effect is very effective.

Now my tentative ideal of "Beam Gun" has become something close to "5-Barrel Mega Particle Cannon x2 (Low Output)"and "P Gundam Beam Rifle"  in terms of currently implemented weapons
Let's temporarily combine these good points and show the New Beam Gun after adding the points you want to extend.

  Power Heat Cooldown  Overheat  Range
 P Gundam Beam Rifle  1250 45(%) 1.5(sec) 15(sec) 300(m)
 5-Barrel Mega
Particle Cannon x2
(Low Output) **
 200
 (x10)
 40(%) 0.7(sec) 15(sec) 200(m)
 Beam Gun 830 50(%) 2.5(sec) 10(sec) 300(m)
 New Beam Gun ** 1080 40(%) 0.8(sec) 12(sec) 375(m)
* This data refers to the data in-the game and "gbo2.fandom.com/wiki".
** Penetration effect.

Of course, it's a delusional adjustment, and I've never heard of it happening. Even with this adjustment, I'm not confident that there are enough weapon options.
It was because I wanted to write it simply.
