Beam Gun Enhancement plan (delusion)

There are weapons that must not be included in the options in a serious game. The "Beam Gun" is one of those weapons, and it's a very poor weapon.
In the original series of Mobile Suit GundamBeam Gun is an image of a small version of Beam Rifle. Unlike the image, its power is the beam weapon itself, and it has deadly destructive power. Beam Gun cannot be added to the game as it is set, so it is clearly weakened.
Shooting attack weapons are mainly classified into two types. That is the live attack attribute and the beam attack attribute. The beam gun is in charge of the beam attribute, and the beam gun is inferior to the beam rifle in the rating of the beam attribute weapon.

In this game, the beam rifle has features such as high power, high bullet velocity, and difficulty in continuous firing. Unlike the rifle type, many beam guns do not allow charge shots. Moreover, there are not many weapons that are effective in restraining the enemy immediately.

In this game, the evaluation of weapons that have the effect of restraining enemies and those of other weapons will change significantly. Many of the Beam Rifle Types are highly valued for their weapons that have the effect of restraining enemies with cumulative damage or charge shots.
On the other hand, the Beam Gun type has many weapons that cause cumulative damage to the enemy and restrain it like a machine gun, and the cumulative damage per shot is larger than the Machine Gun Type, so it is useful if you can fire continuously.

The "Beam Gun" that I will talk about this time is a beam gun type, so it has a lot of cumulative damage and more damage. However, this weapon has a problem with rapid fire performance.
This is how it matters. "[Cumulative damage reset time is about 3 seconds], but [beam gun cool time is 2.5 seconds]. To hold an enemy with a beam gun, you must hit at least 3 bullets. "
The performance of this beam gun is valid if "the enemy does not counterattack or move." But that's not the case. While this shoots the beam gun, enemy units will move and attack as usual. In other words, this weapon lacks the ability to respond to the battlefield. Nonetheless, there is nothing that seems to be strengthened since it was implemented.

I thought this weapon had been abandoned completely, but the recent adjustments to the Act Zaku Bullppup Gun made a sudden increase in expectations. This is the time for adjusting delusions.

What kind of idea would you like to adjust?
Units that can be equipped are GM Striker Kai, GM Sniper II, Armored GM, GM Command, and GM Command (Space Type).
Units other than GM Striker can equip weapons with immediate binding effects, and beam guns were not originally an option. At this point, this weapon is failing, so you need to reach the level of the weapon that you can choose from.

I have two ideas.
① Make a weapon with a stagger effect with one shot.
② Make a weapon with a staggering effect with three shots.

① Power 1100 (original LV1: 830), heat consumption 100% (original 50%), overheat recovery time 8 seconds (original 10 seconds)
This weapon cannot fire continuously and has low power. However, since the overheat recovery time is short, it is practically the same as a weapon with unlimited bullets and a cool time of about 9 seconds. It is an advantage to be able to shoot an unlimited number of bullets without having to manage the heat gauge in the low cost battlefield. If you reduce the overheat recovery time with custom parts, it will be much easier to handle.

② Power 450, cool time 0 seconds (original 2.5 seconds), heat consumption 45%, overheat recovery time 7 seconds
This weapon can fire up to 3 consecutive shots in about 0.5 seconds. And if you hit all the bullets, you can restrain the enemy with cumulative damage.
The damage amount is 450 x 3 =1350 damage, which is higher than the Lv1 bazooka's 1250 damage. Even if you overheat this weapon, you can attack again in about 8 seconds, so you do not need to manage the heat gauge.
With this adjustment, I think that you can choose Bazooka if you choose the ease of hitting, and Beam Gun if you choose the advantage when the attack hits or the amount of damage. There are also drawbacks. This weapon can detain enemies faster than the machine gun type, but it cannot be detained by removing the attack once. So it's not easy to handle. Even with this plan, you can reduce the cool time with custom parts.
